Battle Royal High School Movie Review 1987

Riki Hyoudo wants to be the champion of his karate club. He has a really cool leopard mask to wear, but his enthusiasm is more than the other students can take. Meanwhile, his double in the Dark Realm crosses through the dimensional gate bringing with him a myriad of evil spirits and other things to cause the semi-possessed Riki problems. As the title suggests, there are lots of fights at high school.Riki's fascination with some of the magical powers he can temporarily use is amusing. Certain aspects of the title will be lost on those not familiar with the comic book series, but its sheer adrenaline wins some fans.
