Follows the life of the 1940s movie queen, who was known for her elaborate headdresses and effervescent personality. The "Brazilian Bombshell" became a national icon before making a smash Broadway debut in 1939 and soon had a contract with 20th Century Fox. Her cartoonish Hollywood image eventually angered many South Americans and became a stereotype from which Miranda could not escape. Includes film clips and interviews with Miranda's friends.
