Jewish folk music played by travelling bands in Europe before WWII, klezmer has gained recognition in America as a folk tradition that helps to keep alive Yiddish culture. Holocaust survivor Leopold Kozlowski is one of the few musicians to remain in Poland to teach klezmer to students. The documentary follows Kozlowski as he returns to his childhood home in the Ukraine and his past.
