Jan Svankmajer's Faust Movie Review 1994

Ordinary everyman Faust is handed a map on his exit from a Prague subway, which leads him to an abandoned theatre. There he finds a copy of Goethe's "Faust" and, when reading it out loud, Faust manages to summon up the devil. Combination of live action, stop-motion, and claymation techniques.
