When two college students are kidnapped, death-row killer Luther Lee Boggs (Dourif) claims to have psychic information to aid the investigation in "Beyond the Sea." Mulder's skeptical but Scully's more open-minded, having just experienced a vision of her father (Davis) at the moment of his death. Mulder and Scully try to find evidence of an "E.B.E." or extraterrestrial biological entity, with the aid of Deep Throat (Hardin) and a trio of conspiracy theorists called the Lone Gunmen (Harwood, Haglund, and Braidwood).
