Explores one of Ireland's greatest tragedy in history, the period between 1845 and 1851 when the country's population was out in half due to death and emigration. Emphasis is placed on the people who emigrated to the Canadian quarantine island of Grosse Isle where most of them died and became part of the largest mass grave of Irish Famine victims in Ireland or North America.
