Camille Valmont (Baye) is an actress who has sacrified everything for her now-fading career. She's divorced loving husband Adrian (Manojlovic) and given him custody of their two young children--often ignoring her every other weekend visitation rights. In financial straits, Camille takes a job out of town and decides to take the kids with her, without telling Adrian. Self-centered and easily distracted, Camille tries to get close but manages to destroy what little rapport she has with her children. Camille isn't likable but Baye is such a gifted actress that you'll still feel pity. Director Garcia's debut; French with subtitles.
