The Boys Next Door Movie Review 1996

Gentle comedy/drama, based on Tom Griffin's play, about four mentally disabled men--Norman (Lane), Barry (Leonard), Arnold (Jeter), and Lucien (Vance)--who share a house under the supervision of too-dedicated social worker Jack (Goldwyn). In fact, Jack's devotion is causing enough problems in his marriage to have him consider changing careers, even as each of "the boys" struggle with their daily lives. TV movie is overly sweet but the performances are very good.
