Star Trek Voyager, Episode 1/2: Caretaker Movie Review 1995

The third TV spinoff from the franchise sci-fi series features the 24th century adventures of Captain Kathryn Janeway (Mulgrew) and the USS Voyager. In the pilot episode, the crew is searching for Maquis rebels in an area of space known as the Badlands when the ship is mysteriously tossed 70,000 lightyears across the galaxy. The Voyager does find the Maquis ship, as well as an alien named Nelix (Phillips) and a planet run by a force called the Caretaker, whose inhabitants all live underground.
