Freeway Movie Review 1995

Grubby modern retelling of "Little Red Riding Hood" finds surly 16-year-old Vanessa (Witherspoon) escaping from her parole officer to avoid foster care when the cops arrest her mom and stepdad. She takes the family car and heads off to grandma's but car trouble on the freeway leads to a ride from the big bad wolf--Bob Wolverton (Sutherland)--a serial killer preying on young women. Lots of lurid unpleasantness.
