By-the-book FBI agent Dana Scully (Anderson) is first paired with maverick Fox Mulder (Duchovny), who's devoted to the study of unexplained phenomena and works only on cases outside the mainstream. In the pilot episode they investigate the mysterious deaths of Oregon high school students. "Deep Throat" finds Mulder investigating the disappearance of a test pilot--the sixth at the same air force base. Mulder's given encouragement and information from a government contact known only by his code name. Additional episodes available.
