The Stone Flower Movie Review 1993

Presents the last of Sergei Prokofiev's nine ballet scores, permiering at the Bolshoi Theater a year after the composer's death. The ballet's underlying message, that great art requires sacrifice, was particularly relevant to Prokofiev who suffered during the Stalinist era.
