This Is the Sea Movie Review 1996

Belfast Protestant teenager Hazel Stokes (Morton) falls in love with Catholic boy, Malachy McAliskey (McDade), with trouble sure to follow. Interesting cast but the film winds up being simplistic and cliched. Director McGuckian also appears as Cathy, Padhar McAliskey's girlfriend, who is played by McGuckian's husband, Lynch. Title comes from a 1985 Waterboys song.
