Prime Suspect: The Lost Child Movie Review 1994

Jane Tennison (Mirren), promoted to Detective Chief Inspector, is caught up in a drama that strikes a little too close to her well-schooled emotions. A young mother's (Edney) 14-month-old daughter has been abducted--has the child been kidnapped for ransom or is this the work of a pedophile? Suspicion falls on released sex offender Chris (Glenister) but things aren't that simple--even as tensions rise among Tennison's own detectives. Made for TV.
