The Hakkenden: Legend of the Dog Warriors, Vol. 3 Movie Review 1995

In "Episode 5: Demon's Melody," peaceful innkeeper Kobungo fishes Shino and Genpachi, another dog warrior, out of the river. Their presence at his inn leads him to reflect on his past and the sword he has sealed away. Next, in "Episode 6: The Cicada Spirit City," Sosuke is facing execution by crucifixion. Shino, who has just learned that he is a wanted man, and Genpachi decide to attempt a rescue. The stories are good and a lot of important series information is provided. These episodes lead into the second part of the series as one more warrior joins the quest.
