Coltrane stars as brilliant-but-abrasive forensic psychologist Dr. Eddie Fitzgerald. His insatiable desires for smoking, drinking, and gambling have blown apart his marriage and caused him grief at work. But Fitz's brilliant at "cracking" cases by reading clues (and people) to nail wrongdoers. In "The Mad Woman in the Attic," a murder suspect, claiming to have amnesia, may be a serial killer. "To Say I Love You," finds a loan shark gettting murdered and a recently paroled hijacker and his girlfriend being involved. And in "One Day a Lemming Will Fly," a teen suicide turns out to be murder. On three cassettes.
