Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture Movie Review 1994

Champion kickboxer Joe Higashi is upstaged at his own party when a mind-controlled ninja attacks. Then Sulia, the girl who the ninja had pursued, beseeches Terry Bogard, the man who defeated Geese Howard and the terrible Krauser, to help her save her brother Laocorn from himself. He is collecting a legendary suit of armor that he believes will turn him into a god. In fact, he has received incredible power from the pieces he's already found. Terry, his brother Andy, Joe, and the pert ninja girl Mai face their biggest challenge ever as they travel around the globe trying the beat Laocorn to the remaining pieces of armor. Plenty of fight scenes featuring moves and styles from the hit video game couched in a plot that contains a whole legend about Sulia and her family. The rather dark brother-sister saga is balanced by Mai's romantic pursuit of Andy. This is one of the best anime to be adapted from a game and the showdown is appropriately epic.
