The Cow Movie Review 1993

Adam (Holub) is the simple-minded son of the local prostitute in a remote mountain village. With his mother dying, Adam sells his beloved cow to pay for her morphine but after her death he sinks into further poverty and despair until the beautiful Rosa (Mihulova) takes pity on him. Bleak but powerful; Czech with subtitles.
