Reveals the complex and traditional relationships between the men and women of the Hmong people as they practice the longstanding tradition of cultivating hemp (marijuana) into cloth, which is illegal today. Also looks at how the men perform traditional ceremonies, such as healing, marriage, and funerals. Filmed on location in Chang Khian, a village located in the mountains of Northern Thailand.
