The Lottery: Who Fights Our Wars? Movie Review 1994

Describes the various methods by the United States that provided enough soldiers to fight in the wars waged in the past years. Includes coverage of conscription laws during the Civil War, the draft lotteries of World War I, the peace draft prior to World War II, the televised draft lotteries of the Vietnam War, and today's all volunteer army. Also looks at how the Selective Service Commission is still holding dress rehearsals so that they can stay prepared in case of future conflicts.
