December Bride Movie Review 1991

Determined young woman (Reeves) becomes the housekeeper to two taciturn Irish farmer/brothers (Hinds and McCann) and proceeds to bully them into prosperity in early 20th century rural Ireland. She also scandalizes the community by sleeping with both men and refusing to marry either--even after she becomes pregnant. Based on the novel by Sam Hanna Bell.
