Pie in the Sky Movie Review 1995

Charles Dunlap (Charles) is a traffic geek, fascinated by the flow of cars on the nearby freeway, whose hero is local traffic reporter Alan Davenport (Goodman), with whom he eventually gets a job in L.A. Charles' other interest is dancer/waitress Amy (Heche)--their first attempt at romance goes awry but persistence pays off. Optimistic and corny.
