Interstellar adventure, hosted by Patrick Stewart, Captain Jean-Luc Picard of Star Trek: The Next Generation, that puts the viewer in a passenger seat onboard an imaginary starship and propells them through interstellar space in search of extraterrestrial intelligence, supernovae, black holes, and the largest known structure in the universe: a great wall of galaxies spanning 325 million light years across. Contains photographic plates taken from NASA space probes and ground-based optical and radio observatories. Soundtrack includes classical music from Holst, Wagner, Strauss, and Debussy.
