The Heart and Lungs Play Ball Movie Review 1990

Part of the Wonders of Life Series, which combines live action with animation to explain how different body systems function. Follows 6th grader Jessica's efforts to make the boys' baseball team. Animation helps to show how her heart, lungs, aorta, veins, arteries, and cells work together to give her the proper oxygen and energy to make the team. Winner of the CINE Golden Eagle, First Place at the National Educational Film & Video Festival, and listed on the Science Books & Film's Best Science AV List.
