The Sunshine Boys Movie Review 1995

TV version of the Neil Simon play about two old vaudevillians is updated, not necessarily for the better. The feuding duo are a formerly popular 50s TV comedy team whose breakup was not amicable (Think Lewis and Martin. Go ask your folks, we'll wait). They are persuaded to reunite for a special appearance, but the old grudges come back. Suffers by comparison to the original, with Allen and Falk unable to duplicate the chemistry of Burns and Matthau.
