Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain Movie Review 1995

Thirteen-year-old Beth (Ricci) moves to the small town of Wheaton, Washington, and forms an unlikely friendship with rebellious tomboy Jody (Chlumsky). Together, the girls set out on a treasure hunt that takes them into a dangerous trek through sea-coast mountain terrain. The grownups are dumb (and the story's fairly boring) but the two heroines have real appeal.
