Defeating the legendary Geese Howard basically means that Terry Bogard has to prove his fighting prowess to all challengers. After dispatching Kim, the annoying TKD guy, Terry is defeated by Krauser, one of Europe's most feared champions. After Terry recuperates physically, he's lost confidence in himself. As he spends his days drinking, only the young street urchin Tony continues to believe in him. Meanwhile, Andy and Joe decide to seek out Krauser. Watching Terry's emotional turmoil is pretty interesting as are his memories of how he became a fighter. Andy and Joe behave predictably and the bouncy ninja girl Mai is introduced, but the story is really all about Terry. Despite the darker aspects of this story, there are still plenty of cool martial arts moves and exciting fights. Available in Japanese with English subtitles as "Fatal Fury: One-Two Punch" which also includes "Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf."
