The Avenging Angel Movie Review 1995

Unusual take on religion and western justice. Brigham Young (Heston) and his Mormon sect have established themselves in Utah--with the aid of some sharpshooting vigilantes, including Miles Utley (Berenger). When an assassination attempt is made on Young's life, Utley finds he's stumbled into an ever-widening church conspiracy that threatens to consume him. Based on the novel by Gary Stewart.
