The hit video game comes to life to tell the story of Terry and Andy Bogard, brothers who witnessed their father's death at the hands of a fellow martial artist. After ten years of training they meet at the King of Fighters Tournament where they befriend kickboxer Joe Higashi. He agrees to help them face Geese Howard, a crime syndicate boss and their father's murderer. Terry also meets the beautiful Lily who has a haunting connection to his past. Plenty of martial arts action that won't disappoint fans of the game. Styles and moves are carefully rendered, so the fights and fighters don't all look alike. One of the very best examples of an anime adapted from a game, this title adds depth to the characters while retaining their basic personalities from the original work. Available in Japanese with English subtitles on "Fatal Fury: One-Two Punch" which also includes "Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle."
