Mira Reym Binford recounts her experiences as one of only 12 Jewish children to survive the Nazi occupation of the Polish town of Bendzin. Along with another child, Shulamit, she survived by posing as a Christian. Another girl, Ada, and her grandmother were hidden from the Nazis by other families. Also profiles Alfred Rossner, a German who saved many Jews by employing them in his textile factory. Presents Binford's return to Poland to interview relatives of the families who helped the three girls. Some segments are in Polish with English subtitles.
