The Story Tree: Fun Phonics & Stories Movie Review 1994

Stories, songs, riddles, animated characters, and characters such as Miss Sandy the Story Genie combine to encourage kids to read and teach some phonics lessons. The children in the cast get to pet a live hen and hear a song called "My Favorite Animal." In a visit to the Irvin (Texas) Public library, a librarian reads "The Turkeygobbling Frog Show." Important words and text are highlighted on the screen.
