College professors Matt (Woods) and Karen (Capshaw) have the perfect suburban home--complete with the perfect suburban garden. Then their boorish blue-collar neighbor Lenny (Quaid) takes to enthusiastic lawn watering and ruins their flowers. One thing leads to a full-scale feud.
