The Incredible Voyage of Bill Pinkney Movie Review 1994

Follows Bill Pinkney, the first African-American to sail solo around the world, from preparation, through the two-year journey, and into classrooms upon his return. Using satellite technology, Pinkney talked to schoolchildren in Boston and Chicago from the ship and from different countries he visited. Video gives an account of Pinkney's life as well as his trip.
