Documentary that follows Gamelan Sekar Jaya, an ensemble of American musicians and dancers who perform Balinese music, as they visit Bali to become the first Western group to perform Balinese music for the Balinese. It also illustrates the everyday activities of Balinese life and discusses how this culture is reflected in its art and music.
