Clementine Hunter: American Folk Artist Movie Review 1993

Profiles the life and work of Clementine Hunter, one of America's greatest African-American folk artists. Shot on location at Melrose Plantation, Hunter's home, and includes many of Hunter's colorful paintings along with comments from the artist herself. Contains authentic local folk music and historical context that helps the viewer understand life on an early African-American plantation.
