Weavers in Ahuiran Movie Review 1990

German documentary that profiles the weaving techniques, social organization, and economic situation of the women weavers in a weaving village in Michoacan, Mexico, including changes in weaving techniques over the years, work organization caused by the difficult economic conditions, how the weaving methods are passed down through the generations, and the changes caused by the long absences of the women's husbands due to migrant farm work in the U.S.
