Wealthy, elderly Edward Stapleton is accidentally buried alive after an attack of catalepsy but is rescued in time by his friend Dr. Thorne. Poor Edward takes every precaution by his greedy young wife and her lover are anxious to have the old man out of the way by any means necessary.
