Chantilly Lace Movie Review 1993

Ensemble cast tries hard in this story of modern American women and friendship in the '90s. Val (Eikenberry) gathers a group of seven close friends at her new house in Sundance. Turns out trying to "have it all" is causing some emotional crises to surface, which are explored over the course of a year. Actresses improvised their dialogue from basic character information. Lots of weeping and bonding.
