Documentary study visits a great Mayan city in the Honduras jungles where archaeologists and other professionals have dug for artifacts that may reveal more about Mayan civilization. Once considered a peaceful culture, in the mid-60s a Russian linguist broke the Mayan heiroglyphic code that would later reveal a civilization preoccupied with human sacrifice and self-mutilation in order to appease the gods.
