The BBC returns Jane Tennison to the beat (as does her portrayer Mirren) in another intriguing police drama. Tennison has transferred from homicide to the vice squad but still can't escape murder investigations--or male chauvinists. Oh yes, Tennison has a new team of macho colleagues to contend with and she's still getting heat from her bosses about her job. Still, this is one copper who lets nothing stand in her way.
