Reading Rainbow: Mrs. Katz and Tush Movie Review 1993

Features the story of the friendship between a widowed Jewish woman and her young African-American friend who brings her a cat for company. As their friendship grows, they share each other's cultures, and note the similarities in their histories. LeVar Burton participates in a seder, and eight multicultural youngsters discuss their heritages. Books reviewed and recommended are "Wilford Gordon McDonald Partridge" by Mem Fox, "Abuela" by Arthur Dorros, and "Kwanzaa" by Deborah Newton Chocolate.
