Twist Movie Review 1993

Amusing documentary about the dance craze and American pop culture. Hank Ballard and the Midnighters first recorded "The Twist" in 1960 but it was Chubby Checker's cover version and Dick Clark's promotion of the record on "American Bandstand" that really started everyone moving--from kids to grandparents. Includes interviews, newsreel and tv footage.
