She's Pregnant and She's a Junkie Movie Review 1993

Documentary look at three women over the course of several years as they pursue their drug addictions and deal with their children. These women, who often support their drug habits through prostitution and shoplifting, speak about their lives, children, addictions, and men. Most of the time unaware of the effects their habits have on their children, this presentation takes the viewer to hospitals to witness the women's live births and see the newborns who suffer from tremors, discomfort, frequent crying, poor muscle tone, and who may also be slow learners or suffer from short attention spans.
