Dream Deceivers: The Story Behind James Vance vs. Judas Priest Movie Review 1991

In 1985 Raymond Belknap and James Vance shot themselves in a suicide pact, Belknap was killed while Vance was grossly disfigured. Both had been drinking and smoking marijuana while listening to the music of heavy metal band Judas Priest. Their parents claimed subliminal messages on the recordings drove the boys to suicide and they filed suit against CBS Records which found its way to a controversial trial.
