Terezin Diary Movie Review 1990

In Nazi propaganda films Terezin was presented as a model ghetto, in reality the overcrowded and disease ridden camp served as a way station to Auschwitz. Focuses on the diary of Helga Kinsky who, with nine other survivors, describes the lives of the children in Terezin. Filmmaker Justman is herself a Terezin survivor.
