Gangs: Decisions and Options Movie Review 1993

Three vignettes simulate gang recruitment tactics and portray children who may be at risk. Tico, who lives with his abusive and alcoholic aunt, is pressured by older kids in the neighborhood to become a member; Marco and Tony are harrassed on the basketball court and forced to pay gang members a fee for using a public court; and Aleem, who suffers from self-esteem problems, is promised respect, stature, and close friends if he joins.
