Abba Eban, once Foreign Prime Minister to Israel, hosts this retrospective look at the creation of the State of Israel. Interviews and archival footage poignantly express the events leading to the state's establishment, the Six-Day and Yom Kippur wars, the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty, and the events that would occur up until today. President Truman discloses the motives for his 1947-48 policies, and the Honorable Boutros Ghali and Ambassador Tahsin Bahsir, both Egyptian statesmen, take a close look at President Sadat's motivations.
