Paradise Park Movie Review 1991

A whimsical comedy about the inhabitants of a West Virginia trailer park who dream of better lives while coping with their depressing surroundings. An English teacher (Groce) wishes he was a writer, an elderly woman (Basquette) dreams of winning a TV quiz show, and a mechanic wants to be a race car driver. Director Boyd sprinkles in appearances of non-Hollywood notables Porter Waggoner, Johnny Paycheck, Webb Wilder, and wrestler Dusty Rhodes. Includes some black and white fantasy sequences.
