The White Shadow, Vol. 1 Movie Review 1978

After an injury curtails his career with the Chicago Bulls, Ken Reeves (Howard) becomes the basketball coach at Carver High School in Los Angeles, an inner-city school with a team of wisecracking players. The pilot episode finds Reeves trying to adjust to his new life and help his students.
