Shanghai Express Movie Review 1932

Dietrich is at her most alluring in this mystical and exotic story that made legends out of both star and director. Dietrich plays Shanghai Lily, a woman of objectionable reputation, who has a reunion of sorts with ex-lover Brook aboard a slow-moving train through China. Remade as "Peking Express." Based on a story by Harry Hervey.
